Imagery That Drives Intelligence
Interview with Tony Frazier, SVP and General Manager of Insight, DigitalGlobe
The earth observation industry has made significant progress over the past decade. With vast amounts of data collected current global capacity of very high resolution (VHR) satellite imagery exceeds 1.8 billion square kilometres per year – that is more than 12 times the land surface area of the earth. As the industry matures, users requirements have gone beyond the pixel and there is a significant shift towards providing geospatial insight that help users make critical decisions faster.
In this short interview at DGI 2014, Tony Frazier, SVP and General Manager of Insight at DigitalGlobe addresses the future trends of the industry and explains how DigitalGlobe is uniquely positioned to help customers see the earth more clearly, understand it with greater clarity and proactively address change before it happens.
