Nicos Spyropoulos

Dr. Spyropoulos has over 23 years of Earth Observation and Satcom industry experience working as executive in IIS-EOSAT, Space Imaging, Definiens, Cosmotelco, KBI and 5CI. His project management portfolio includes exploitation of various EO missions and coordination of several European Commission projects such as TELEMATICS, ACTS, ESPRIT, IST, covering subjects such as environmental liability, geospatial intelligence, security and advanced information systems.
He holds a PhD in Remote Sensing and MSc in Remote Sensing from UCL-Imperial, London and BSc & MSc in Land Reclamation and Water Resource Engineering from Athens University. He has been Remote Sensing lecturer at University of Athens and JRC, Ispra.
