15:00 Motion Imagery in Activity-based, Geospatial, Multi-Source Intelligence Analysis

Find out more about motion imagery and associated meta data which is collected predominantly for surveillance purposes not for detailed intelligence analysis. During the briefing you will learn why intelligence architectures do not have sufficient bandwidth to deliver motion imagery to the point of analysis in a timely fashion, are not engineered to allow efficient archiving, search and retrieval of motion imagery data, and analysts are still using exploitation tools better suited to static data. In addition you will discover how advanced meta data-based information management capabilities benefits operational and intelligence picture generation as well as how to advance motion imagery processing for GEOINT purposes:
  • Making the motion imagery the map – live geo-registration
  • Rapid, tactical, 3D modelling
  • Motion imagery-based mosaics as GIS layers
  • Assisted analysis - how to help the human analyst deal with huge quantities of data
